Technology may have least to do with art, but Edelweiss PC by Million-Dollar-PC is a technically artistic PC casemod that other than presenting functional value also offers a unique design, which is quite different from regular custom made cases that we came across in the past. The Edelweiss PC has got all the wires and cables tucked up neatly within the confines of smoked glass case, so there’s no clutter around the machine, while on the other hand, the other components and the cooling system is left outside for us to see. Earlier this year we reported on two ultra-exclusive $3 million Bugatti Veyron Pur Sangs, the world's most expensive production vehicle of which only five were built, being put up for sale. The first of the special edition cars with exposed carbon fiber and aluminum bodywork, which sold out within 24 hours of their original announcement, was offered up in Abu Dhabi. The next one surfaced a couple of weeks later in Frankfurt, Germany where the car was originally unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Now a third Pur Sang has been listed for sale via global online luxury marketplace JamesList in Munich.
With the other two Pur Sangs already on the block as previously noted, only two of the cars seemingly remain in private hands. Also back in April we noted that 18 Veyrons were on offer via JamesList; that number has now swelled to 23, or nearly one-fifth of all Veyrons built to date. The cheapest is a 2005 model with 29,000 miles on it offered at €789,000 or about $1.09 million. Obviously the pitiful economy means many people are having to try and unload these agonizingly expensive automotive status symbols.

A couple years ago, the world marveled at the rate at which the ranks of millionaires swelled. Now we are watching them shrink. A new survey by Capgemini and Merrill Lynch & Co. shows that the amount of millionaires shrank at the fastest rate on record in 2008. The number of millionaires sank by 15 percent to 8.6 million basically undoing the gains of the last two years. Millionaires saw their assets diminish by 20 percent down to $32.8 trillion.
The survey also shows that we won't have to wait to long to see the financial wealth of Asia-Pacific millionaires eclipse that of North American millionaires. By 2013, as the value of millionaires' assets globally are rising again, China and other nations will be ruling the roost. Currently the U.S. is home to the most millionaires and last year China moved into the fourth slot behind the U.S., Japan and Germany. The U.S. also lost more millionaires last year, the number fell by 19 percent. Dan Sontag, president of Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management says that 55 millionaires are being created in China every day.
What's particularly interesting is that almost 30 percent of wealthy clients surveyed either took assets out or left their wealth management firms entirely in 2008 and 46 percent report that they confidence in their advisers. These types of numbers seem to indicate that a profound shift in the wealth management business might be required. In a press release Bertrand Lavayssiere, Managing Director Global Financial Services, Capgemini says that the research shows that "while client satisfaction remains a top priority, many wealth management firms and advisors may not fully understand what drives clients to leave or stay." He calls for firms to look at their capabilities to "ensure simplicity and transparency" in their business.
Happy Fathers Day!!!!

In an age where people are defined by their ability to shop, one individual has stepped forward as a representative of our newfound sameness—’the consumer’.
The Hybris Mechanica Grande Sonnerie will hold the Jaeger LeCoultre mechanical Calibre 182 movement with 26 complications and over 1300 parts. All of that will be inside of the 18k white gold 44mm wide by 15mm thick case. I honestly don't know how they will be able to cram the ultra complex movement and complex chiming and gongs mechanism into such a small space. I am starting to understand where the huge price comes into play. The last two "world's most complex watchess" were the Patek Philippe Calibre 89 which boasted 24 complications and cost $6 million, and the Franck Muller Aeternitas Mega that had 25 complications and cost (only) $1 million. Soon these watches will be supplanted by the Hybris Mechanica Grande Sonnerie. The collection of three watches that will come in the Hybris Mechanica set will together hold 55 complications. For the serious collector, and serious price of the watch, it is clear why they will be delivered in a safe.
So what does the watch do? Many of the complications involve the sonnerie functions that include Westminster chimes (will be the only watch that can play the whole Westminster carillon melody), grande sonnerie, petit sonnerie, minute repeater, a silent mode, flying tourbillon, perpetual calendar with a retrograde day, date, and month indicator as well as a leap year indicator. The watch will of course have the time, with an instantaneous jumping hour display, as well as separate power reserve indicators for the mainspring power reserve as well as the power reserve for the sonnerie. There is frankly too much to discuss in terms of all that is seemingly impossibly included in this incredible timepiece. I am most impressed that despite the many complications, the watch still is able to have a large portion of the dial skeletonized and still be highly easy to read. More details soon as the Jaeger LeCoultre Hybris Mechanica Grande Sonnerie is closer to release.

Questions and answers
Greetings Twitters, Facebooker, Bloggers and the rest of the known internet.
We have a very special Q and A interview with the very beautiful and talented Amanda JoLynn:
G-Ni: How are u doing today? As your biography says you’re a young entrepreneur and upcoming model, what kind of originality are you bringing to your audience and to your craft?
Amanda: I am very blessed in many aspects. Every day is a great day! I feel bring a lot to the table. I am so much more than a pretty face. Knowledge is far more important to me. I manage Hip Hop and R&B artist Gyft in Arizona. I’ve gotten my feet wet with Protools and have learned a few things. I love helping him record. I also do promotions for photographers, other models, liquor companies and many other businesses. I am a Mary Kay beauty consultant, as well as an Executive Assistant for a technology center. In the entertainment industry I like to get my hands in anywhere I can fit. I’m open to new things and love learning. I enjoy helping others in any way I can. Any aspiring models out there looking for a few pointers or models looking to network feel free to contact me!
G-Ni: Being that you are in the wonderful state of Arizona, is the modeling industry flourishing out in the west like you wanting it to be?
Amanda: I must be honest on this question. No it is not. I believe anyone trying to make it to the number one spot as a model needs to be in California, Miami or New York. I am not a tall model, although I do shoot tall. It’s not easy for me to get runway or catalog work in this state. I do feel that I can push more and get more work than I do, but working full-time and having so many other obligations I’m not quite where I want to be with my career as a model. Although, I am proud of what I have accomplished. The sky’s the limit!
G-Ni: Now I have to go ahead and get this out the way for the guys, are you currently taken by someone at the moment?
Amanda: Yes I am. I know it’s not the answer many wanted lol But I’m an honest person. I have a great man in my life. And I will tell you nothing in this world is better than love. To have someone to love you and you love back is simply beautiful. Y’all should check him out. He’s a hottie ha-ha Girls can look but no touching. I got a lil thug in me too lol as I mentioned before I manage him as well as love him ha-ha. Jhavaughn aka Gyft Y’all can see what he’s working with at www.myspace.com/heavensent2201 ;)
G-Ni: So at what time and age did you decide that you wanted to get into modeling?
Amanda: It was 2005 and I was 18 yrs old. I did fashion shows in high school when I was 16 or 17 but I didn’t commit and take it seriously till about 18.
G-Ni: Now I know you’re a model, is there any model friends that you may have introduced to the game, and do you have any haters?
Amanda: I have had so many girls hit me up on MySpace asking how I got into the game. I wrote a blog, which u can few at www.myspace.com/msamandaj for aspiring models. I don’t want to put the girls out there lyke that, but I have many I have induced and they know who they are =) my ultimate goal in the long run is to have a modeling agency, so I know I’ll bring more in. And of course I have haters’ ha-ha Behind Every Successful Person Lies A Pack Of Haters…True Story and I’m writing mine!
G-Ni: Now do you have any specific artist or genre of music that gets you in the mode for photo shoot?
Amanda: Definitely. Just depends on the photo shoot. I’m a music lover so I do like many different genres, I love Hip Hop and R&B, but put on some rock, jazz, country and you’ll see me grooving. If I’m doing a confident super woman shoot lol I like to listen to Keri Hilson. But I play Gyft a lot at my photo shoots as well. I’ve done shoots in silence too. I guess no matter what I love the camera and it loves me back. We have a connection he he
G-Ni: I have a feeling that you don’t want to just model, so what is your plan to take over the world?
Amanda: My momma tells me I need to slow down lol I want to take over the world, but got to take it day by day. I must admit I take on too much at times and completely overwhelm myself. First and Foremost I love inspiration and helping people. Besides me modeling, I would like to bring others into the game and make them be the best they can be. I am helping Gyft get signed, so once he does I will play a big part in his career as well. Like I said before I want my own modeling agency. I have an entrepreneur mindset so if all else fails Ill own some kind of business of my own. I will continue to spread Gods love that he’s given me and help others in any way I can. And once I have my money right, I’ll be able to help even more =)
G-Ni: Now some people don’t take modeling seriously, what do you have to say to all those people?
Amanda: Honestly not much. Not to sound stuck up or anything, but it’s a waste of my time. I take this seriously and if they don’t I can’t put anything in their ear that’s worth it, so I mightiest well do me and let them do them. Now if someone approaches me who doesn’t take it seriously but tells me they want to I will give them my best and try to help. You can’t help anyone who doesn’t help themselves, so I need people to come correct when they want help/advice from me.
G-Ni: The body you are working with is on point, what is your secret to staying so fit?
Amanda: This is the question that always either amazes people or makes them think I’m fibbing. I don’t do anything. I don’t eat right as I should and I never work out. Unless you call dancing a lil bit at the club counts ha-ha I do thank God for what he’s given me =)
G-Ni: Well I guess it’s that time… are there any people you would like to shout out and thank?
Amanda: Definitely Id like to first off say thanks to God for everything. His blessings are truly amazing! Without him there’s no point for anything. I thank my mom and dad for making me into a great person and loving me. I thank Jhavaughn for always sticking by me through thick and thin. I know I can be a pain lol Thanks for loving me! My brothers. Y’all are the best. My niece and nephew who are my pride and joy. And everyone else whose helped me in anyway. I truly appreciate it!!! Much love! Best wishes to all n God Bless!!!

If you've ever watched a hard drive die a slow death, you'll know computer memory isn't forever. So if you'd like to upload your consciousness and live forever, that's a major challenge. Luckily, science has a solution: billion-year nano-data storage.
Scientists at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of California Berkeley have developed a nanotube technology that can store a bit for 1 billion years — and it has the theoretical capacity to store 1 trillion bits per square inch. Scientists say the technology to create the nanotubes is well within current methods for manufacturing semiconductors.
The only problem with such small and sensitive technology is that, by reading it, you might automatically degrade it. Calculations show that the binary values within the nanotube would change in about a billion years — which is, after all, much longer than human existence to date. And even in a normal human life, people change. So, go for it!

Rap mogul Damon Dash's luxury timepiece and jewelry brand Tiret New York has turned its hand to automotive design with its latest creation, the Tiret Sport Coupe. Just unveiled at watch expo Baselworld in Switzerland, the luxurious 2-door SUV is based on the Range Rover Sport and features real diamond accents derived from Tiret's opulent oversized, bejeweled timepieces by designer Daniel Lazar.
Available by special order at an undisclosed but undoubtedly astronomical price, the car is available with custom watch dial displays derived from Tiret's diamond timepieces, as well as an elegant central clock. A wide variety of color combinations including two-tone schemes is available inside and out in addition to Nappa leather seating and fine wood trim. Exterior modifications include wider flared arches, LED lighting, 22-inch LSE alloy wheels and a full panoramic glass sunroof.

I love the outdoors and I love nature but I also love indoor plumbing and sleeping in a dry, comfortable bed at night. So I'm one of those who would love camping a lot more if I could afford a camper to do it in, and this Colim modular camper by Christian Susana would certainly fit the bill. Although it boasts several fun features and can be customized to the user's preferences, the real attraction of this design is the detachable 'cockpit' at the front that makes jaunts away from the campsite not only easier and more convenient but also more environmentally friendly. That's what I call luxury.

Designer Ari Soffer famous for putting diamonds on pants, motorcycles and leather couch pillows is celebrating the opening of his flagship store, Soffer Ari on Los Angeles's Robertson Blvd. with a launch event tonight that includes a DJ set by Joel Madden of Good Charlotte. Soffer defines his recession-defiant aesthetic by saying that "things you really love should be exactly the way you want them, or are not worth having at all."
One of Soffer's more extravagant creations is the Dead Man Walking Cane shown above. The cane of Hawaiian hardwood is topped with a silver skull that gleams with 3.9 carat sapphire eyes and a total of 28 karats of diamonds. It will be on display in the store which features customized vaults, a bulletproof shield for the front window and a fully stocked bar. The cane retails for $150,000. About his creations Soffer says, "There is never a shortage of ideas. There is only a shortage of money, to make every idea come true. I would cast everything in my line out of solid gold, if it wouldn't bankrupt me."

Not to be outdone by its rival, Activision officially announced its newest music-oriented gaming title, DJ HERO. An offshoot from its immensely successful GUITAR HERO franchise, which gross $2 billion dollars in sales worldwide, DJ HERO let you “be the life of the party”, and allow you to spin away popular dance tunes and hip-hop tracks.
The game will include a customized turntable controller with the familiar 4 color-coded buttons. Available in versions for the 4 major gaming consoles: Xbox 360, PS2, PlayStation 3, and Wii, DJ HERO will due out towards the end of October this year, with selected retailers (like Amazon) taking pre-release orders now.
In addition, just prior to the E3 gaming tradeshow this week, Activision briefly introduced a special edition of DJ HERO, currently in the works, with EMINEM and Jay-Z. It will include new greatest hits CDs, controller with advance functions, a DJ stand and a metal carring case. One other possibility is the special edition may include previously unreleased tracks. Details yet to come…
